Description
The Superbike world championship returns to the Barcelona-Catalunya circuit. A well-known place for the MotoGP championship, but this will be the second time that it will have the best series bikes on its asphalt.

Kawasaki’s Jonathan Rea fended off World Superbike title rival Toprak Razgatlioglu in a dramatic Superpole race in Barcelona. The battle between the two was halted when the race was red-flagged for a major crash involving Mahias and Davies at Turn 11, a five-lap sprint race followed, with the starting grid based upon the order in which they were running at the end of the last completed lap.
