Esporte Clube de Patos, also known as Esporte de Patos or simply Esporte, is a Brazilian football club based in the city of Patos, in the state of Paraíba. Founded on July 7, 1952, it plays its games at the José Cavalcanti Stadium, with a capacity for up to 8,000 fans, and has red and white as its colors, having a duck as its mascot, in honor of the city in which it was founded, in addition to having the nickname "terror of the backlands", which was given to it in the first years of its foundation, after heavy defeats imposed on its opponents.

It is one of the most traditional clubs in Paraíba football, having been the first club in the Paraíba backlands to become professional and participated in several editions of the Paraíba First Division Football Championship, in which it currently competes, the first of which was in 1965, however it was in the Second Division of the aforementioned tournament that Esporte gained prominence, as by winning four titles, it became the biggest winner of the Access Division, with the most recent achievement having occurred in 2018. Esporte de Patos' main rival is Nacional, also from Patos, whose clashes are called Clássico Patoense.
