Associação Desportiva Ferroviária Vale do Rio Doce, known nationally as Desportiva Ferroviária, or simply Desportiva, is a Brazilian football club from the city of Cariacica, Espírito Santo.
It was founded in 1963 after the merger of several other clubs controlled by Companhia Vale do Rio Doce. In 1999, as a result of the merger with the Villa-Forte group, it changed its name to Desportiva Capixaba, until in 2011 the club returned to its name as Desportiva Ferroviária.
It is one of the most successful clubs locally, having won the Campeonato Capixaba 18 times. It has also competed in several editions of the Série A, B, C, and D of the Campeonato Brasileiro. Its biggest rival is Rio Branco Atlético Clube, against whom it plays the state's biggest derby. Its greatest asset is the Engenheiro Alencar Araripe Stadium.
