The Campeonato Paraense de Futebol, or popularly known as Parazão (or also, Campeonato Paraense Banpará and Parazão Banpará for commercial reasons) is the main football competition played in the state of Pará. The championship is dominated by Remo and Paysandu, which are among the five biggest state football champions in Brazil, and has as a third prominent force another club from Belém, Tuna Luso. Former player Quarentinha is the biggest collector of state titles in all of Brazil, with twelve Campeonato Paraense wins.

Currently, the Government of Pará is the main sponsor of the competition through the State Bank of Pará - Banpará, and for this reason the name of the financial institution was adopted in the commercial name of the championship in 2020, being used since then. The state television network Rede Cultura do Pará has broadcast the championship games since 2009.
