Description

The T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas is set to host a monumental "Mexico vs. Mexico" showdown on May 2nd, as David "The Mexican Monster" Benavidez officially moves up to cruiserweight to challenge Gilberto "Zurdo" Ramírez for his unified WBA and WBO world titles. This highly anticipated clash pits two of the sport's most respected warriors against each other in a battle for divisional supremacy. Benavidez enters the ring coming off a dominant TKO victory over Anthony Yarde in November, seeking to become a three-division world champion. Ramírez, a seasoned veteran who made history as Mexico's first super middleweight and cruiserweight champion, looks to defend his throne and cement his legacy as the king of the 200-pound division. With both fighters possessing high-volume striking and legendary chins, this Cinco de Mayo weekend headliner is expected to be an instant classic.
