Description

The Kia Shooting Stars competition returns to All-Star Saturday at the Intuit Dome, replacing the Skills Challenge with a revamped "connections" theme. Four teams of three—each featuring two current NBA stars and one retired legend—will compete in a two-round timed shooting drill. The heavy favorites are Team Knicks, led by All-Stars Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns alongside franchise icon Allan Houston. They face unique competition from Team Harper, a family trio featuring five-time champion Ron Harper Sr. and his sons Dylan and Ron Jr., as well as Team Cameron (Duke alums) and Team All-Star (Scottie Barnes, Chet Holmgren, and Rip Hamilton).

Result Description

Team Knicks dominated the 2026 Shooting Stars competition, living up to their billing as the best shooting trio in the field. After leading the opening round with 31 points, the New York squad—Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns, and Allan Houston—caught fire in the finals to post 47 points and secure the trophy. They defeated Team All-Star (Scottie Barnes, Chet Holmgren, and Richard Hamilton), who finished as runners-up. The fan-favorite Team Harper and the Duke-themed Team Cameron were eliminated in the first round after struggling with the long-distance half-court shot.
