Description The Superpole Race at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit is the ultimate high-speed gamble of the weekend. Over just ten frantic laps, the world's best Superbike riders will push their machines to the absolute limit to secure both championship points and a crucial front-row starting position for the final feature race of the event. With the morning coastal winds often creating unpredictable conditions and the field condensed into a tight pack, the sprint rewards the bravest late-brakers and those who can bring their tires up to temperature instantly. Every second counts in this dash to the checkered flag.

Nicolo Bulega continued his imperious form at Phillip Island, claiming victory in a dramatic Superpole Race that saw the field battle both each other and unpredictable light rain. Despite a difficult start that saw him drop to fourth on the opening lap, the Aruba.it Racing - Ducati rider methodically carved his way back to the front, taking the lead on the fourth lap and never looking back.
The race was a milestone for the new Bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team, as Axel Bassani secured the manufacturer's first-ever WorldSBK podium by claiming second place. Bassani engaged in a fierce battle with teammate Alex Lowes and Barni Spark’s Yari Montella, eventually breaking away to shadow Bulega to the line. Alex Lowes rounded out the podium in third, making it a historic double rostrum for the Bimota project in only its first weekend of competition.
