Result Description
Mac McClung delivered a legendary performance to win the 2023 Slam Dunk title, single-handedly reviving the event’s prestige. McClung was nearly flawless, earning three perfect 50s out of his four dunks. He secured the victory in the final round against Trey Murphy III by performing a spectacular 540-degree maximum-rotation dunk that brought the Vivint Arena crowd to its feet.

Murphy III finished as the runner-up after a strong showing that included a creative "Grand Theft Alvarado" assist from teammate Jose Alvarado. Jericho Sims and Kenyon Martin Jr. were eliminated in the first round after failing to match the technical difficulty and "first-try" execution that McClung displayed throughout the night.
