The mountain has been wanted and desired in this edition of La Vuelta, but it is already here. No less than six ports in this 152 km stage. Two of them are of the first category, the one that opens the hostilities and with which the day closes, Sierra del Maigmó, an emblematic place called Balcón de Alicante and which is unprecedented in the Spanish round.
