Description
First race in the WorldSBK category at the Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours. The famous French circuit is the penultimate round of the season and it may be the opportunity Scott Redding needs to score points.
Race 1 for the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship, with wet conditions greeting the 21 riders for the opening race of the Pirelli French Round at the Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours as Jonathan Rea (Kawasaki Racing Team WorldSBK) claimed his 10th victory of the 2020 season.
Rea and Baz duelled it out for victory with Rea coming out on top by around three seconds, Baz took his third podium of the year - and a first WorldSBK podium on home soil, he was followed by Alex Lowes who despite being a distant ten seconds off the front notched up his first podium since the Australian season opener back in February/March.
