Club Français is a French football club founded in 1892, defunct in 1935 and based in Paris.

At a time when the few clubs in France were made up of Britons, the club was the first to be founded by Frenchmen, hence the choice of the name by its members. The French Club quickly established itself as a major club. He participated in all the first editions of the French championship organized by the Union of French Athletic Sports Societies, the first football competition in France, remaining in the 1st series of the Paris championship until 1914. The French Club forged an important record between 1896 and 1903, with a French championship in 1896, a Dewar Cup and six Manier Cups. Subsequently, the club did not manage to qualify for the final phase of the French championship.

The club left the USFSA in 1915 to affiliate with the Association Football League and won a Challenge of Fame during World War I. Affiliated to the French Federation of Football Association from 1919, the French Club took part in the highest level of the Parisian League of Football Association until 1932, winning two Paris championships in 1929 and 1930, successes to which were added a Coupe de France in 1931, a competition in which it participated in all the first editions.

The French Club turned professional in 1932, but finished relegated at the end of the first professional French championship. For the first time in its existence, the Club did not play at the highest level in the 1933-1934 season. Due to heavy financial problems, caused in large part by competition from the three other Parisian professional teams, the French Club was forced to abandon the 1934-1935 Interregional Division championship. The club will not recover. Without a designated stadium, it was forced to merge in 1935 with the "Football Club Athlétique Dionysien (FCAD)", based in Saint-Denis, which took the name of "Football Club Athlétique Dionysien-Club français" and abandoned the pink and black colours of the Club français.
