The Athletic Union of Sykea "Panathletikos" is a Greek sports club operating in the area of the Municipality of Neapolis-Sykea in Thessaloniki . Its official year of establishment is 2015 , however, it is a historical continuation of the previous club called " Panathletikos Sykieon " founded in 1988. The first core of basketball athletes was recruited from the corresponding sports department of the then spiritual center of the Municipality of Sykies, which existed since 1983-84, from where it took its first name "P.K.D.S". It maintains basketball departments for both adult women and younger girls. It has the legal form of an amateur club and its athletes compete with the colors fuchsia , white and gray . It uses the Indoor Gymnasium of the Municipal Sports Center of Eptapyrgio as its sports headquarters. The Fortress of Eptapyrgio , also known as the Yeddi Koule , is depicted on the team's emblem together with a basketball .
