Description 
Dorense Futebol Clube is a Brazilian football club based in the city of Nossa Senhora das Dores, in the state of Sergipe. It is known regionally as Dorense, but in its hometown, its fans simply call it Touro do Sertão. It was founded on May 30, 1948, and its colors are white and red.
They competed in the first Sergipe Série A1 Championship in 1994, finishing tenth, and in 2001, they achieved their best campaign, finishing third. They have won two Série A2 titles, in 2015 and 2022.
The top scorer in state competitions is Dagil, with fourteen goals, who played for the club in the early 2000s.
Its stadium, the Ariston Azevedo, is located in Nossa Senhora das Dores, in the Centro neighborhood, and is nicknamed Aristão. It currently has a capacity of approximately 3,000 people. The club's president is Ronaldo Silva.
Its biggest municipal rival is Flamengo, where they play the Derby de Dores, but it also has inter-municipal rivalries against Rio Branco from the city of Capela, a club with which it has played regional matches and competitions for many decades, and it also has a rivalry against Força Jovem Aquidabã from the city of Aquidabã, with Guarany-SE from the city of Porto da Folha and recently it has been fighting great duels against Itabaiana.
Among several players who became idols, Bonato, Esquerdinha and Antônio Eliano stand out.
It participated in the Sergipe championships between 1993 and 1994, and later, between 2000 and 2004 in the 1st division. It was in the 2nd division of the state from 2005 to 2015. The club returned to the elite of Sergipe football in 2022.
