Description Sociedade Esportiva Caeté is a professional football club from the city of Bragança, in the state of Pará.
The club has been working with youth teams since 2019 and began its professional soccer career in 2020. The idea for the club came from Rodrigo Barata, who held the position of director at Bragantino-PA. However, after disagreements with the current management, in 2018 he took the initiative with the help of other former club directors to found the city's second club, this one initially focusing on youth teams. To honor the region's first inhabitants, the founders decided to adopt Caeté as the club's name, which refers to the indigenous people of the Caeté tribe. Continuing this line, they chose the color red as a reference to their ancestors. Green refers to the name, which means "strong forest" or "true forest" in the Tupi language.
