Antalyaspor is a Turkish professional football club founded in Antalya on July 2, 1966. The club’s colors are red and white, and its nickname is “The Scorpions.” The team plays its home matches at Corendon Airlines Park Antalya Stadium.

Antalyaspor first joined the professional leagues in the 1966-1967 season, competing in the 2nd League. In the 1981-1982 season, the club became champion of the 2nd League and was promoted to the 1st League. After playing in the 1st League for three seasons, Antalyaspor was relegated. Although the team returned to the 1st League the following season, it was relegated to the 2nd League once again in 1986-1987. After that, the red-and-white side competed in the 2nd League for seven seasons and returned to the 1st League through the play-offs in the 1993-1994 season.

Starting from the 1994-1995 season, Antalyaspor competed in the top division for eight consecutive seasons before being relegated at the end of the 2001-2002 season. In the following years, the club played in both the Süper Lig and the 1st League during different periods.

Antalyaspor’s first stadium was Antalya Atatürk Stadium. The club played its home matches there from 1966 until 2010. However, the stadium could no longer be used after it failed to obtain a structural safety report and did not meet the criteria set by the Turkish Football Federation. The red-and-white team played its matches at Mardan Antalyaspor Stadium between 2010 and 2012, and at Akdeniz University Stadium during the 2012-2013 and 2013-2014 seasons. Since the 2015-2016 season, Antalyaspor has played its home matches at Antalya Stadium, currently known by its commercial name as Corendon Airlines Park.

Antalyaspor competed in the Süper Lig from the 2010-2011 season until the end of the 2013-2014 season. The club finished the 2013-2014 season in 17th place and was relegated to the 1st League. In the 2014-2015 season, the red-and-white side competed in the 1st League, finished the season in 5th place, and then returned to the Süper Lig. From the 2015-2016 season to the end of the 2025-2026 season, Antalyaspor competed in the Süper Lig. During this period, the club achieved its best finish in the 2016-2017 season, ending the league in 5th place. At the end of the 2025-2026 season, Antalyaspor was relegated from the Süper Lig and will compete in the 1st League in the 2026-2027 season.

Antalyaspor achieved its best Süper Lig finish in the 2016-2017 season, when the team collected 58 points and finished 5th. The club’s highest points total came in the 2021-2022 season, when Antalyaspor finished 7th with 59 points.

The club has reached the Turkish Cup final twice. Antalyaspor played in the finals of the 1999-2000 and 2020-2021 Turkish Cup seasons but lost both finals. As the finalist of the 2020-2021 Turkish Cup, the red-and-white team also competed in the Turkish Super Cup, where it lost to Beşiktaş after a penalty shootout.

Antalyaspor has represented Türkiye in European competitions three times. The club competed in the UEFA Intertoto Cup in 1996 and 1997, and in the UEFA Cup in the 2000-2001 season. Its best European performance came in the 2000-2001 UEFA Cup, when it reached the first round.

The club’s 2nd League championships hold an important place in its history. Antalyaspor won the 2nd League title in the 1981-1982 and 1985-1986 seasons, earning promotion to the top division in both campaigns.
