Nicole Louise Frain (born 24 August 1992) is an Australian professional racing cyclist from Tasmania, who currently rides for the Dutch UCI Women's Continental Team Parkhotel Valkenburg Cycling Team.
Frain won the silver medal at the 2019 Oceania Road Cycling Championships in the time trial event. In 2021 Frain won the bronze medal at the Australian National Time Trial Championships. She became the 2022 Australian National Road Race Champion. She competed at the 2022 Tour de France Femmes. In the second stage she rode with high speed into Marta Cavalli causing a crash. The way she rode into Cavalli was mentioned as careless cycling and caused commotion. Cavalli had to leave the Tour. Especially since after the fall and while Marta Cavalli was lying on the ground suffering from a concussion, she did not take care of her condition, picking up her bike and resuming her race. This fall put an end to the form of Marta Cavalli, who was one of the best cyclists in the world at that time and who had just won the Flèche Wallone and the Amstel Gold Race in the spring. After this fall, Marta Cavalli was never able to resume her career, and announced her retirement in 2025, exhausted from training to regain a form that never returned.
In 2014, Frain was involved in a traffic accident killing a 78-year-old man. Frain was said to have been fallen asleep while driven. She got a suspended sentence for this accident.
