


Jerry Mack, appointed as Kennesaw State University's head football coach in December 2024, brings over 20 years of collegiate coaching experience to the program. Before joining the Owls, Mack served as the running backs coach for the Jacksonville Jaguars in the NFL during the 2024 season. From 2021 to 2023, he was the running backs coach at the University of Tennessee, where his guidance helped the Volunteers achieve top-25 national rankings in rushing offense and scoring. Mack's previous head coaching tenure at North Carolina Central University from 2014 to 2017 resulted in a 31–15 record and three Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference championships. Known for his up-tempo offensive schemes and strong player development, Mack aims to lead Kennesaw State through its transition to the Football Bowl Subdivision and establish a competitive presence in Conference USA.
