


Joaquín Tobio Burgos (born 14 December 2004 in Chascomús) is an Argentine footballer who plays as a midfielder. He plays as a winger for Estudiantes de La Plata in the Argentine First Division.
Career
His first steps in soccer were in the children's divisions of Tiro Federal Chascomús and Club Atlético Chascomús in his hometown. He went to try out for the lower divisions of River Plate, Argentinos Juniors and Defensa y Justicia, where he was not chosen. However, in 2022 he was selected in the fifth division of Estudiantes de La Plata.
In April 2024 he was part of the Club Estudiantes de La Plata good faith list for the Copa Libertadores 2024.
In mid-August 2024 he signed his first professional contract with the La Plata institution until the end of 2026.
On October 7, 2024, he made his debut in the Argentine First Division, entering in the 67th minute in Estudiantes' 2-1 away win against Banfield. Joaquín Tobio Burgos came on and scored the team's second goal, in what was a consecrated debut. In his fifth game in the First Division, he scored again in a 1–1 draw against San Lorenzo away.
On December 21, 2024, he was part of the starting team that won the 2024 Professional League Champions Trophy, in Estudiantes de La Plata's 3-0 win over Vélez Sarsfield at the Estadio Único Madre de Ciudades in Santiago del Estero.
On matchday 1 of the Apertura 2025 Tournament, he scored a goal in Estudiantes' 3-1 victory over Unión at home. [15
