He began his career in 2000, competing in the French Promosport Cup.
After two seasons, he entered the French 125 Championship, where he finished third overall. Unfortunately, an injury jeopardised his chances of winning the European Championship in 2003.
In 2004, he took part in several Grands Prix as a wildcard, scoring his first points at Brno.
The following year, he joined the French team in the 250cc world championship, but unfortunately that was to be his only full season.
After that, Leblanc tried his hand at bigger things in World Supersport, but it was in the French championship that he really came into his own.
After winning the Supersport title in 2010 and 2012, he went on to claim three more Superbike crowns (2013, 2014 and 2015).
At the same time, he tried his hand at the World Endurance Championship, winning prestigious races such as the Moto 24 Hours and the Bol d'Or on a Kawasaki.
For 2024, the SHARK rider is still competing in the French Championship aboard a Panigale V4 R and in the World Endurance Championship in the Kawasaki Trickstar colours.
