Díaz grew up in the youth sector of Sarmiento (J), and signed his first professional contract on December 24, 2021. He made his first-team debut on 4 May 2022 in the Copa Argentina match lost 2–0 against Flandria and scored his first goal on 26 June 2023 in the Primera División match won 4–1 against Atlético Tucumán.
