Nicolas Petan (born March 22, 1995) is a Canadian professional ice hockey centre currently playing for the New York Rangers in the National Hockey League (NHL). Petan was selected by the Winnipeg Jets in the second round, 43rd overall, of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.

On March 8, 2024, the Wild traded Petan to the New York Rangers in exchange for Turner Elson.

Petan was signed to a contract with Ak Bars Kazan of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) on a one-year deal on July 29, 2024.
