Aiko Sugihara (杉原 愛子, Sugihara Aiko, born 19 September 1999) is a Japanese female artistic gymnast and a member of the national team. She participated at the 2015 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Glasgow. She was a member of Japan's gymnastic teams at the 2016 and 2020 Olympic Games. At the 2017 World Championships in the all-around final, Aiko Sugihara successfully debuted a new turn, a double turn with the leg held in split, on the balance beam. It should be named after her if the FIG credits the skill.
