Sarah Adlington (born 5 August 1986) is a British judoka.
She has won over 75 medals, including +78kg gold at the 2015 Oceania Open in Wollongong and at the 2013 European Open in Rome.
Adlington’s career highlight to date came in 2014 when she scooped Commonwealth Games gold representing Scotland, where she has lived since relocating to Edinburgh in 2005.
She is the most experienced member of the British squad, having made her British Judo senior debut back in 2008 at the European Championships in Lisbon. A seven-time British Champion and multiple World Tour medallist, Adlington will now look to put her previous Olympic near misses behind her as he targets a podium place in Japan.
