Description

Kaapo Kakko ( born 13 February 2001) is a Finnish professional ice hockey forward. Kakko was selected second overall by the Rangers in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. Kakko plays right wing, but also has experience playing at center. He made his professional debut playing with TPS of the Finnish Liiga.

On December 18, 2024 he was traded to Seattle for Will Borgen, a 2025 third-round pick and a 2026 sixth-round pick from Seattle/
