Joanne Harten MBE is a former professional netball player who transitioned into a specialist coaching role for the 2026 season. After a legendary 19-year on-court career, she retired from elite competition in July 2025 following her final match with GIANTS Netball.
Harten competed at the 2007 and 2011 Netball World Championships, and the 2010, 2014 and 2018 Commonwealth Games, earning 99 caps for England by 2012. She captained the Loughborough Lightning netball team in the English Netball Superleague, before picking up a contract with the Canterbury Tactix in the ANZ Championship in 2012.
