James Michael 'Jimmy' Anderson, OBE (born 30 July 1982) is an English international cricketer who plays for Lancashire and England. Regarded by some as one of the greatest fast bowlers of all time, Anderson is the all-time leading wicket-taker among fast bowlers and holds the record of most wickets for England in both Test and One-Day International (ODI) cricket. He is the only English bowler, and the 6th overall, to pass 500 Test wickets.
