Larkai has spent the past three years in the Japanese JBL league, having originally ventured east in late 2010. Starting with Hamamatsu, winning back to back championships, he moved onto a two-year stint with Okinawa Golden Kings, winning another championship. He has now joined the Sendai 89ers for the 2013-14 campaign. Prior to that, he had a nine-game stint on home soil with Everton Tigers following a debut professional campaign in Spain’s second tier with L’Hospitalet. He attended college at Bellarmine University in Kentucky and La Salle University in Philadelphia
