Karl Gustav Johan Svensson (born 7 February 1987) is a Swedish footballer who plays for Guangzhou City and the Sweden national team as a midfielder. Starting off his footballing career in Sweden with IFK Göteborg, Svensson has gone on to play professionally in Turkey, Ukraine, China, and the United States. A full international since 2009, he represented Sweden at the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
