Charles Robert Coyle is an American professional ice hockey forward for the Columbus Blue Jackets of the National Hockey League. Coyle played part of a single season with the Saint John Sea Dogs of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) in 2012. He played for the Boston University Terriers hockey program before he was drafted by the San Jose Sharks in the first round, 28th overall, of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. In 2011, he was traded to the Minnesota Wild, with whom he played the first six years of his professional career before he was traded to the Bruins in 2019.
