The Piauí State Football Championship is a competition organized by the Piauí Football Federation to determine the state champion among clubs from Piauí. Parnahyba was the first champion. Its current champion is Piauí EC, winner of the 2025 edition, when it won its 6th title in the competition.
Before 1941, the competition was played in a league format (one in Teresina and another in Parnaíba). The first edition took place in 1916, organized by the Liga Sportiva Parnahybana (LSP), with Parnahyba Sport Club as the first winner. Professionalism in Piauí football was implemented in 1963, putting an end to decades of formal amateurism.
The competition guarantees the champion and the runner-up the right to represent Piauí in Série D and the Copa do Brasil.
