


Campeonato Baiano is a sports competition held in the state of Bahia and organized by the Bahian Football Federation (FBF). It is the second-oldest state championship in Brazil and the oldest state championship in the Northeast region of Brazil, having been held since 1905.
The competition is the oldest of its kind in the Northeast region and the second in Brazil, behind only the Campeonato Paulista (created in 1902), and has been held uninterruptedly since 1905. The biggest winner of the competition is Esporte Clube Bahia, with 51 titles won.
