How to handle teams & players for individual sports? |

Edits: 0 Posts: 2 Joined: 2026 | I'm looking to flesh out the figure skating events. Current leagues on the site are the Olympics and the ISU Grand Prix: https://www.thesportsdb.com/league/5145-olympics-figure-skating https://www.thesportsdb.com/league/5753-isu-grand-prix I'd like to add the other annual championships and the Challenger series as well, in time. How do editors handle team and player listings for individual sports? National teams would make sense, but do team and player listings within the database nest under leagues, or can they span across leagues? As these "leagues" are just different events run by the International Skating Union and skaters are entered by their national team federation, which is stable across events, it doesn't make sense to create duplicate listings. If anyone can give me pointers as to how to handle this, I'd be grateful. | ||
