int_round Values for MLS Cup Final, NCAA Basketball Tournament, and Non-CFP Bowl Games

We're unable to distinguish the Championship Final from the Conference Finals or earlier rounds. Is there a distinct intRound value assigned to the MLS Cup Final, or is there another field we should be using to identify it? 2. NCAA Men's Basketball (March Madness) Every NCAAB game we've seen — regular season and NCAA Tournament alike — returns intRound = 0. We need an identifier that shows only NCAA Tournament games, but can't find a reliable way to identify them. Is there a round value, status field, or other indicator that differentiates tournament games from the regular season? 3. College Football Non-CFP Bowl Games We can successfully identify CFP Playoff and National Championship games using their intRound values. However, we'd also like to surface traditional bowl games that fall outside the CFP bracket (Rose Bowl, Sugar Bowl, etc.). Are these assigned distinct intRound values, or is there another way to identify them as bowl/postseason games? Any guidance on these three cases would be greatly appreciated.

zag Edits: 184,813 Posts: 4,031 Joined: 2020		Thanks for the reports, basically if intRound is missing then someone needs to edit the event and change it. This is as simple as hitting the yellow "Edit Event" button and changing the round, But can be time consuming if there are a lot of events. The site is completely editable by any premium member or editor with rights. That's how we work.

There are no playoff games set for the MLS season yet, still far too early. As zag stated above you could use the collection feature, you could also manually enter these into the description field. Other than that there is no way to identify them.

I was trying to figure out the intRound values for March Madness and pulled last year's MLS schedule to confirm the Cup Final uses intRound 200 on the last game. Is there a reference table somewhere that lists all intRound values with their labels (e.g. 200 = Final, 150 = Semi-Final, etc.)? It looks like the values may follow a consistent pattern across all leagues — World Series, Super Bowl, NBA Finals, MLS Cup all appear to use 200 for the championship game, with playoffs using lower values like 160/125/150 for earlier rounds. If that's intentional and documented somewhere, that would be really helpful to reference when building integrations. PS. All Star Game is not in the MLB schedule correct. Was looking for that game and inRound ID but did not see it pulling 2026 or 2025 schedule. Thanks, Scott

Look at the bottom of the page that zag posted earlier in the thread. Final will mean the last game, semi-final when there are 4 team left, quarter-final for 8 teams. Then it will depend on the competition on what is correct. We have to try and make this format work for many competitions across many sports so there are times when a questionable decision is made and a round peg needs to fit in a square hole. zag

You won't find them on main leagues as they are just exhibitions games PS: 2026 MLB All-Star Game should be easy to find as it's even currently displayed on "Featured Events" on the landing page zag
