i recently spent a while updating the formula 1 poster and thumbs to the 2025 season only to find they have now been overwritten, what a waste of time that was.
Could to with a sticky about your current project

I was adding all the practice and qualifying sessions, which seemed to be missing for some reason. I thought I should just update everything since I had all the Photoshop files from when I made them last year.

Maybe ask first if there's already pre-existing artwork?

I'm sure we had a thread like that somewhere already, I will try to resurrect it.

Great work from both of you anyway, it looks fantastic!

I'm currently working on NASCAR.

I'm doing it for myself, mostly. I like consistency and up-to-date graphics in my Plex. If you want I can upload all of the Cup Series races artwork (poster, thumb, square and banner) with new, consistent artwork (the current square and banner artwork does not fit with the poster and thumb artwork and there are 2021 posters in the 2025 season at this moment).

I'm doing the same for Xfinity and Truck series, as the season progresses.

V8 Supercars, IMSA Sportscars and Global MX-5 Cup (but that is not on this site) are on my list of to-dos as well. IMSA could do with a completely new artwork design, though. V8 Supercars already has one, I noticed.

I wrote a that enables me to use design elements to create all artwork in a single pass by using a csv file with info and a json file with 'commands' to place the stuff at the correct positions etc. If anybody thinks that might come in handy, I'll make it available (it's python, and a flat so no object oriented programming required).

I'm always interested in seeing how these things can be automated further.

Have a look see. I included the entire NASCAR Cup Series season as an example.
Took the 47 seconds to create all the images.

Funny how the forum just replaces the word "scr ipt" with a space... If you think I missed a word in the posts, that's the word.

I've uploaded the 2026 NASCAR Xfinity (now called O'Reilly Auto Parts) Series schedule with artwork. Since O'Reilly isn't purple, the entire color scheme has been changed into a blueish green for the poster, thumbnail, square, and banner design elements (consistent with the new series badge).

Some race names and/or logos are TBA, so they're just placeholders. I'll fix those as they become public.
