Cancelled Match after Kickoff

How can I see via API if a game has been cancelled? So I'm mainly interested in the fact that a game which had already been whistled was canceled.

For example, the following game was just canceled because of heavy rainfall at half time:

In the livescores the game doesn't show up anymore (of course, because it was canceled) but I don't see any other way to detect via API that the game was canceled. I also can't set the game to abandoned via the website of thesportsdb.com (can only do finished there, but it wasn't finished properly).

The strStatus field in the /lookupevent endpoint will show CANC for canceled. But, from what I can tell that endpoint is only updated every few hours...
