livescore v2 doesn't return in-progress games after midnight UTC

Games that start prior to midnight UTC and continue into the new day are missing from the v2 livescore API response. Only games with a dateEvent that match the UTC date are returned.
How can I continue to get scores for in-progress games that technically started yesterday? Passing a date param doesn't change the response ?d=2023-09-06 . Neither does an idEvent ?id=1783501
The endpoint I'm hitting is https://www.thesportsdb.com/api/v2/json/{{apiKey}}/livescore.php
