Stars or No Stars?

A user recently updated some club logos to versions without stars. Which got me thinking, what are people's preferences?

Personally I am all for star-less versions being used, its much easier to keep up-to-date than versions with stars.

I recently changed a few to versions with stars, but I'd be very happy to revert to without if a few people are on board with the idea.

What do you think, stars or no stars?

Being purists, the stars should be one more element of the badge, since it is part of it and the players wear them on their jersey; but for thumbs etc, it is true that it is tenuous to have to update it and, on top of that, it makes the shield itself smaller vs teams that don't use stars... Also official team websites such Dortmund, Bayern Munich, Werder Bremen, etc, don't display these stars.

I also vote for a star-less version

No strong feelings, starless seems easier to maintain....

Been over a week now, so I think its conclusive that we'll use no stars for club logos going forwards.

I'll change any that I see to star-less versions.

I started to change some in the Bundesliga. I checked against the offical Bundesliga site and they had no stars. I thought it looked cleaner when doing team v team thumbs also
