How Do Event Thumbnails Work? |

Posts: 162 Joined: 2021 | Hi, I don't have a good understanding of how things work with the event thumbnails and am looking for some help. I uploaded a few thumbnails for Major League Rugby: I synced the mapping here: https://www.thesportsdb.com/artwork.php?l=5070 After syncing I don't see any of the event thumbnails that I added being green checkmarked. Here is a thumbnail I added to an event: https://www.thesportsdb.com/event/1277694 But, I don't see that thumbnail artwork carried over to other events of the same match up. Are thumbnails applied to all events of the same match up or is everything still manual on an event by event basis? I also don't see a way to upload art work from the mapping page, do you have to search separately for each event? Thank you | ||

 zag Posts: 3,848 Joined: 2020 | Artwork should be stored in the "map" the first time you upload it to an event. The name of the event is simply used to map to future events. When you create a new event, it will look for the map artwork url. Might be a bug so I will take a look. cardinaldiehard25 | ||

zag Posts: 3,848 Joined: 2020 | OK apparently I coded this a bit differently than I remember! The artwork was not stored because these are new sports and new leagues that have recently been added. I have now manually synced up all the new leagues to the map structure. It should work with new uploads. cardinaldiehard25 | ||
