Description

Tom Ingram rounded off a mixed weekend at Croft with a victory in race three, from third on the partially-reversed grid he overtook Cammish off the start line then with a committed move through the Jim Clark Esses passed Tom Chilton for the lead. A problem with tyre vibration
later in the race meant he was unable to hold onto the three second advantage from earlier and spent the final few laps battling with Cammish, with the margin between the pair dipping as low as three tenths-of-a-second. Taking the chequered flag marked the 27-year-old’s 16th career success, drawing him level with 1992 Champion Tim Harvey in the BTCC annals.
