Description
Josh Cook led home team mate Tom Chilton to secure his first BTCC race victory of 2020 in a domiant BTC Racing 1-2 finish at Thruxton. Cook started the reverse grid race from pole position and superbly controlled proceedings ahead of his team mate Chilton as the BTC Racing Honda Civic Type Rs ran in tandem for the vast majority of the race.
Butcher's run to the podium proved a tougher affair after the Motorbase Performance driver soaked up lap after lap of severe pressure from championship leader Ash Sutton.
