Description

Newly-promoted Charlton moved up to second in the Championship after victory at Reading.

George Puscas had two good efforts for the hosts before the break in an even but goalless first period.

Jonathan Leko broke the deadlock soon after half time as the Charlton forward's deflected effort spun in from the edge of the box.

The lead was doubled when Lyle Taylor converted a penalty after Chuks Aneke had been brought down in the area by Pele.
