Description

Brentford inflicted more misery on struggling Derby County as they brushed aside the Rams with an excellent display of attacking football at Griffin Park.

Two goals in two minutes early in the first half put the home side in control as Bryan Mbeumo netted the opener before Ollie Watkins' struck the second from 10 yards out.

Watkins made it three just before half-time, and it could have been worse for Derby as the Bees had chances to go into the break further ahead.

The hosts continued to create opportunities during a quieter second period, but victory moved them up to 14th in the Championship, leapfrogging the Rams, who are a point behind them in 19th place
