Description
The 2019 Rally Chile (also known as the Copec Rally Chile 2019) is a motor racing event for rally cars that will be held over four days between 9 and 12 May 2019. It marks the first running of Rally Chile, and is the sixth round of the 2019 World Rally Championship, World Rally Championship-2 and the newly-created WRC-2 Pro class. The 2019 event is based in Talcahuano of Concepción
Province in Bío Bío Region and consists of seventeen special stages totalling 304.81 km (189.40 mi) competitive kilometres.

Ott Tänak secured his second victory of the FIA World Rally Championship season at the inauagural Copec Rally Chile on Sunday afternoon. The Estonian led for all but one of the 16 speed tests in a Toyota Yaris to win the sixth round of the year by 23.1sec.
Sébastien Ogier, driving a Citroën C3, fended off fellow Frenchman and nine-time world champion Sébastien Loeb to finish second after a furious final day fight. Ogier headed the Hyundai i20 driver by 7.1sec to regain the championship lead.
Tänak won the live TV Wolf Power Stage to claim five bonus points. Ogier scored four in second with Jari-Matti Latvala, driving a Yaris, claiming three points in third. Loeb and Kris Meeke, in another Yaris, took two and one point respectively.
