Description

Masai Russell enters the women’s 100 metres hurdles final as the clear favourite after an unbeaten 2026 season that has already produced a world record and a Diamond League title. Former world record-holder Tobi Amusan, European champion Nadine Visser and a deep field of global medal contenders will try to stop her, but Russell’s 12.09 world record makes her the athlete everyone must beat in one of the strongest sprint-hurdles finals of the championship.
