Description

Larissa Iapichino leads an open women’s long jump final at the inaugural World Athletics Ultimate Championship after the withdrawal of Olympic and world champion Tara Davis-Woodhall. The Italian arrives as European champion and national record-holder at 7.12m, while Diamond League champion Monae’ Nichols, Alyssa Jones, Jazmin Sawyers and Agate de Sousa give the field considerable depth in a competition where the title appears genuinely wide open.
