What began as 24 contenders at the start of the week has been whittled down to the final eight for the 2026 Shanghai Masters quarter-finals.
Eight players were seeded through to the last 16 and all eight have survived their opening tests to reach the quarters in China.
Three victories are still required to land the prestigious invitational crown and with it the £210,000 top prize.

The 2026 Shanghai Masters snooker quarterfinals concluded on 30 July 2026, setting up an elite final-four lineup. World No. 1 Judd Trump and China's Zhao Xintong delivered staggering 6-0 whitewashes, while defending champion Kyren Wilson and reigning World Champion Wu Yize emerged victorious from intense final-frame deciders.
