Day 6 of the 2026 Betfred World Matchplay took place on Thursday, 23 July 2026, at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool, featuring the first two extended quarter-final matches (best of 31 legs). Luke Littler and Dirk van Duijvenbode emerged victorious to secure their spots in the semi-finals.
: Defending champion Luke Littler continued his imperious form at the Winter Gardens. Despite some early pressure from Josh Rock, Littler secured vital breaks of throw and hit an incredible 17 maximums (180s) to storm into the next round.
: In a thrilling opening match, Dirk van Duijvenbode defeated two-time champion Gary Anderson. The Dutchman built a solid lead and managed to cross the finish line just as Anderson threatened a late-game resurgence.
