Description

The FedEx St. Jude Championship, founded as the Westchester Classic in 1967, is a professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour. Since 2007, it has been played as the first tournament of the playoff system for the FedEx Cup, with the field limited to the top 70 players on the FedEx Cup points list at the end of the regular season; prior to 2023, the top 125 players were included. For sponsorship reasons, the tournament has previously been titled as The Northern Trust, The Barclays, and the Buick Classic.

Scottie Scheffler won the 2026 FedEx St. Jude Championship in a dominant eight-stroke victory at TPC Southwind in Memphis, Tennessee. The tournament took place from August 13 to August 16, 2026, marking the first leg of the PGA Tour's FedExCup Playoffs.
Scheffler finished the weekend at 17-under par (263 total strokes) to secure his 21st career PGA Tour title. He carded an exceptional 9-under 61 in the second round to tie the competitive course record and shot a 4-under 66 on Sunday to pull away effortlessly from the rest of the field. With this victory, Scheffler earned $3.6 million out of the total $20 million purse and collected 750 FedExCup points. He also became the third-youngest player in history to reach 21 tour wins, behind only Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus.
