Stopping the clock in an incredible meeting record and world-leading time of 3:55.56, the teenage prodigy led a historic race that saw an unprecedented ten women smash the elite four-minute barrier.
The race commenced at a scorching clip as Jessica Hull aggressively tracked the pacemakers to set a blistering early tempo, immediately stringing out the field. Hull held the front position into the final lap, but the relentless pace took its toll as the pack bunched up dramatically rounding the final bend.
