Description
The final round at Club de Golf Chapultepec brings the high-altitude drama to a climax at over 7,800 feet above sea level. The primary challenge for the field remains the technical "Parkland" layout, where the thin air demands absolute precision in distance control and club selection. The objective for the overnight leader, Victor Perez, is to maintain his composure and defend his narrow advantage against some of the most aggressive finishers in the world.
Strategically, the goal for the field is to navigate the tight, tree-lined fairways without falling victim to the deceptive slopes of the ancient greens. The tactical focus for the team competition is a high-stakes shootout, as Legion XIII looks to hold off a surging Cleeks GC and Fireballs GC for the podium bonus. With a $25 million total purse on the line and a vocal Mexico City gallery, the ultimate goal is to balance aggression on the short par-4s with defensive play on the treacherous par-3s to secure the individual and team trophies.
